Aleida Pullar – Artist Statement

‘Working with porcelain and raku clays, paint and found objects, my work encompasses a variety of techniques and forms. The rhythms of throwing and making simple vessels for everyday use are a large part of studio practice, while a parallel stream of work is being explored through painting and tiles. Image making is informed by my local environment, the movement of water between land and sea, the energies of land, sea and sky, travel and history’.
