About Belinda Wilson
Belinda Wilson is a Victorian artist who has exhibited both nationally and Internationally taking her inspiration from wherever she happens to
be. Her work is held in collections in Korea, France, Costa Rica, Austria and in Australia and she has been represented by Victoria Gallery,
Docklands and Artistry Galleries. . She now lives and works in the North East Valleys of Victoria, which she portrays as a landscape both
harsh and mellow, an area both barren and fertile.
After spending time away, Belinda has returned to regional Victoria to re-engage with her spiritual home. Her work is inspired by her
environment and she captures on canvas what she sees every day.
“My work is based on colour and texture and a technique of layering the medium to build up surfaces.” She portrays what she sees but
manages also to go beyond that. She really gets into the essence of the landscape. Her work sparkles and it triggers off the artistic
interpretation which is in all of us.
